I was raised just an hour south of Princeton in a family that didn’t go to church or recognize God and His abounding goodness. In 2002, however, my parents felt compelled by God to take their children to church, and from that first Sunday God has been doing great things in my family. Thank you, Lord! As my parent’s faith in Christ grew, so did their obedience to Him. Increasingly, their lives spoke to me about God and his gospel. During my junior year of high school I was introduced to the church’s youth ministry; that happened as a result of an obviously divine intervention. (Perhaps I can talk to you about that in person sometime.) It was through this ministry that I understood and experienced the acceptance of God—an acceptance that wasn’t produced by my achievements but by Christ’s dying love and burden for my soul. The result? Through all this I came to trust solely in the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior and my Lord. Thank you, Lord! Subsequently, I received a degree in Bible and Youth Ministry at Philadelphia Biblical University (now Cairn University). Today, by His grace, God has called me to use my testimony, experiences, marriage to Lori and biblical education to lead the youth of Stone Hill Church into a deeper and fuller view of God.
