Bulletin for:
Sunday, May 24, 2015
Order of worship:
Pastor to People:

Respect those who labor among you; esteem them highly in love because of their work (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13).

It is with great love and respect that I thank Amy Williams for her faithful service here at Westerly/Stone Hill Church for the past eight years. Since June 2007, Amy has led the office with distinction, overseeing church-wide communications, organizational management, and administrative planning. Here is just a sampling of her accomplishments:

· Supervising and expanding the office support staff;

· Deploying an Information Technology Team;

· Publishing the church bulletin (weekly);

· Publishing an Emergency Response Handbook (annually);

· Overseeing improvements and upgrades to the church website and database;

· Leading the office through packing, relocating, and setting up in our new facility.

Here are words of appreciation from members of our staff:

Carine: I am thankful that Amy had a long history with Missions. She served as the previous Mission Director, having been on the mission field for several years as a missionary. She always made me feel like she was an ally and a special friend.

Tracy: Amy was the glue that helped us get into the new building.  Her hard work, planning, and over-the-top commitment enabled that huge move to go well.

Jim: Amy was one of the first people I met at Stone Hill Church; my interactions with her gave me a very favorable impression of the church. I appreciate her kindness, organization, and passion for her work and service to the church.

Mary: Amy served us through some of the most challenging years of our history.  Her attention to detail as we planned for relocation allowed for an astonishingly smooth transition. Her helpful concern for me and my ministries has always encouraged me.

Mary Ann: Amy brought appreciation and respect for the history of our church to all she did, and she did so effortlessly. She was a woman who brought Christ to the center of her work.

Thank you, Amy, for showing Christ’s love for his church in so many ways!
