Matthew 5:13–16

Jesus loves me… when I’m all alone.

Pastor to People:

When they came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church, and they declared all that God had done (Acts 15:4).

This October we will have the opportunity to do two incredible things at once: to bless the global church and be blessed by it.

Stone Hill is partnering with a strategic ministry in NYC that hosts a conference called Movement Day. This fall (October 25-27), the conference is going global, drawing in over 1500 Christian leaders from around the world in order to pray, strengthen unity, develop partnerships, and forward a gospel vision for their cities. You can find out more about the conference at http://movementday.com.

Through the generosity of several members of Stone Hill, a full scholarship to the Movement Day Global Cities conference has been provided for 25 pastors and church leaders from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This gift has already proven to be a huge encouragement to the MENA church. People who would otherwise not be able to attend have now registered. So let’s add another piece of blessing: specifically, let’s open our homes and provide housing for these 25 leaders. They will be here for a full week, arriving in Princeton on Saturday, October 22 and leaving

Friday, October 28. To have them stay with us while in the US will clearly bless them—and it will bless us by bringing the global church into our homes. Globally-minded kingdom relationships will develop and deepen, and that can be life-changing and God-glorifying!

Would you consider hosting one or two of these leaders? This would entail:

  • housing your guest (s) from October 22-28, and providing meals for them while they are in town (lunches and dinners during the conference, 10/25-27, are covered);
  • driving your guest (s) to and from the train station for the days of the conference (10/25-27), and also to church and other scheduled events on Sunday and Monday, 10/23-24.

You don’t have to be the perfect host, nor does your apartment or home need to be Martha Stewart perfect. An open heart and an open door are all that are needed. So please speak with me today if you want to pursue this opportunity to bless and be blessed, or contact Christina Keddie during the week (christinak@stonehillprinceton.org). Thank you!
