1 Samuel 15

God delights in obedience

Bulletin for:

Pastor to People:

Below Pastor Jin shares about some exciting opportunities, to learn, grow and serve, here at Stone Hill:

First, I have asked our Deacon Management Team (DMT) to describe our Serve Table in the atrium. The DMT writes,

In every family, members have differing needs. Jesus said, 'whoever would be great among you must be your servant…, as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life…’ (Mt 20:26-29)

Our atrium Serve Table features ministry needs. Christians discover that God has given us spiritual gifts to use in service to others.  If you are a regular attendee of Stone Hill, it is a privilege to serve one another regularly and as we are able, but it has sometimes been hard to know how. The Serve Table helps us:

Learn about featured ministries and ministry needs.

Sign up for information on volunteering

Discover our spiritual gifts to exercise

       Connect with ministry leaders

Pray for our mission and vision to make dedicated followers of Jesus Christ

Let us use whatever gift we have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms (I Pet. 4:10).  Meet us at the Serve Table today!

Secondly, I would like to invite you to a set of newly designed classes in the Fall of 2019:

Stone Hill Believes: Stone Hill Membership Class

Oct 6 after the 2nd service

The class (formerly known as Stone Hill 101) is designed for newcomers to survey the history, doctrine, vision, government, and the membership process of Stone Hill Church.

Stone Hill Cares: Stone Hill Relationship Class

Oct 13 after the 2nd service

The class designed for all who are interested in learning about how Stone Hill Church cares for its members through various ministries.

Stone Hill Serves: Stone Hill Ministry Class

Nov 10 and 17 at 9:30 am

The class is designed to examine your spiritual gifts, survey the ministry opportunities, and help you find a place to serve in Stone Hill Church.
