Christ is our Good King, enthroned on high.
Easter Devotional Project: Jesus of Nazareth, Risen Lord, I am all in!
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing. Revelations 5:12
For the 40 days leading up to Easter we will focus on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as told in the Gospels. The sequence of daily devotionals will work through the major segments of the public life of Christ, focusing on who He is and why He is worthy of our whole-hearted surrender! To be included in the daily devotional email list, please sign up at https://tinyurl.com/Easter-Devotional-Project.
Sundays at 6:30: Save the date! Sunday evening, March 15, Pastor Matt will be teaching the next “Sundays at 6:30” from 6:30 to-8:00 pm. He will be joined by his wife, Karen, for this talk entitled Gospel Parenting in a Babylon World. All are welcome and all will learn, but the emphasis is on parenting children in these post-Christian, post-truth days. Childcare is provided.
Our Elders Seek Your Input: On March 1, elders will be available in the Prayer Chapel and are seeking input on what matters to you most related to the future of Stone Hill Church as we seek our next senior pastor. This will be an informal opportunity for you to express your priorities and views, and come and go. Elders will be present during the first service, between services, during the second service and for a short time after the second service. Come with whatever you think is important for our future—the Elders want to hear your thoughts and perspectives. You can also send thoughts by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or to any elder you feel comfortable approaching.
Calling Female Singers of all Ages and Singing Parts! A women's ensemble will sing the offertory in both services on Sunday, March 22. If you love to sing this will be your opportunity! The time commitment is small and your voice will be greatly appreciated! Rehearsals will be on Sunday evening and Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. It's possible to miss a couple of rehearsals and still sing. Please contact Amy Wells at ADWells190@aol.com for the dates, more details, and for a link to hear the song.
Call for Tutors: Interested in serving as a tutor? Stone Hill and Princeton YMCA have partnered to provide tutoring for middle and high school students in the Princeton area. Tutors are needed in all subjects, especially the core areas: Math, Science, and English. Tutors are made available to students on-demand and scheduling is flexible. Please prayerfully consider serving your local community and having the opportunity to touch young minds. If you are interested, please contact Shereka Banton at email@example.com for more details.
