Bulletin for:

Order of worship:
Church notes:

Sabbatical Prayer:  Please continue to pray for Pastor Matt and his wife, Karen, while on sabbatical.

Funding Our Mission: We have talked on recent Sundays about specific examples of our ministries.  Some of them were avenues of discipleship unknown to some of you.  Plus, we have a number of continuing ministries we are all familiar with.  The Funding Our Mission appeal seeks to raise $100,000 this month to fully fund the critical ministries that reach people with the gospel and disciple them.  At this point we have raised $53,730. We have achieved Praise, help us get to Rejoice and Hallelujah.  Ministry thrives in the context of a generous congregation.  Please support the work of the church, either online or in person through the month of June, above and beyond your usual giving.  As always, you can give by cash, check, through online giving via the Loop or our Stone Hill app and website http://www.stonehillprinceton.org/giving.  Contributions should indicate they are for “Funding Our Mission”; if you give electronically look for the dropdown menu.

Adult Ed: A History of Biblical Interpretation: From the Early Church to the Reformation: This class broadly surveys the history of biblical interpretation from the early church to the Reformation, focusing on key figures and their methods of interpreting the Bible. This class will meet in the Library this  Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and is led by Alyssa Evans.

Sufficient Grace: Is a support group that meets at the church on Monday nights from 7:30-9 p.m. The group shares scripture, utilizes discussion, and prayer to aid in the mental health journey. This is a great group to encourage one another in their walk, but is not intended to replace professional treatment.

One-on-One Discipleship:  If you are newer in the faith or still searching you may want to request a mentor as part of our 1-to-1 Discipleship ministry.  1-to-1 Discipleship is designed for the mentors/mentees to meet for one hour each week while working through a curriculum.  Through the 1-to-1 ministry you have the opportunity to share life and get your questions answered in a safe environment.  If you are interested in being mentored please email Pastor Tracy at tracyt@stonehillprinceton.org.

If you would like to be trained as a mentor please email Pastor Tracy as well.  We will have training dates for mentors in August.  Also, we are adding a Next Step curriculum to our 1-to-1 ministry.  Training for that mentoring role will also take place in August as well.

The Koinonia Team: Exists to help Stone Hill Church continue to become a healthy multi-ethnic congregation.  We have a series of events designed to promote conversation, dialogue and understanding in our multi-ethnic context.  Our first event this summer is a screening of the movie, Black Panther, followed by a discussion of the movie and its themes relating to race and ethnicity.  Our screening will take place at 6 p.m. on Sunday July 1st in the church library.  It would help us  to get a head count of those interested.  You can email Lara Holt at larah@stonehillprinceton.org

Stone Hill Brass: Is looking for interested brass players. If you are an experienced Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, or French Horn player we would love for you to contact us and see how you may fit in with our group.  E-mail Wayne Mathisen at info@atonehillprinceton.org and introduce yourself. We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Ministry Team Help Wanted - Audio-Visual Team:  Are you looking for a simple, but fun way to serve the church?  Can you push keys on a keyboard?  Do you attend either our 9:30 a.m. or 11:10 a.m. service on Sunday?  If you answered "yes" to all these questions - you can be a part of our AV Team.  We need you!  And we will train you.  See Nathaniel or Jim Erickson at the AV booth any Sunday for more information.  Also a big thank you to Joyce Huang, who will be leaving this summer for college, and Raphael Suarez, who will  leave to start a new career in TX.

Camp Crew Leaders: Week of July 9-13. We are looking for a few good volunteers to lead and guide our campers through a fun and exciting week of gospel exploration. Email us at camp@stonehillprinceton.org with any questions or concerns. We are here to help.  Preschool program and childcare available for children of all who volunteer.  To register log onto https://tinyurl.com/shccampvolunteer2018.
