Discussion Questions:

O give thanks to the Lord; make known his deeds among the peoples (Psalm 105:1).

On this 5th Anniversary of our first service at Stone Hill, consider this Pastor to People answered prayers and grateful reflections from the opening days of Stone Hill Church. Give thanks, pray, and enjoy!

O Lord, as beautiful as the new sanctuary was, it was bare without the praise of your people.

O Lord, as beautiful as the new sanctuary is, it is bare if we forget the many sacrifices of your people. Jim Erickson, our Facilities Director, writes:  We thank the many people who made this building possible.  Although we cannot recognize everyone, one of the key teams was the Relocation Team.  Following are the members:  Pastor John Beeson and Ed Nyce were the Project Managers; Mary Ellen Meeks, Brenda Nyce-Taylor, and Pat Bocarsly were central in interior design and creating “warm spaces”; George Tilton and Gene McDonald with their management and engineering backgrounds assisted with general oversight; Curt Richmond handled fundraising; Brian Dorini and Andy Bocarsly worked on loan procurement; Rajan Mathews served as the Elder liason; and Lara Holt oversaw office setup.

Financial Update:  December is a hugely important month for Stone Hill Church in terms of ministry and giving! We have a goal of receiving $625,000 dollars during this month to ensure that we meet our ministry and budget obligations. Through December 4th, we have collected $48,000. Stone Hillers have always been a generous group of givers. We’re counting on your prayers, support and the Lord’s help to meet this important goal…
