Summer Sermon Series: Belonging to One Another

May 28, 2026 | Pastor Andrew Zakhari

This summer our church will begin a 14-week study through the “one another” commands of the New Testament—those repeated calls to love one another, bear with one another, forgive one another, encourage one another, serve one another, and live in peace with one another. These commands are not scattered suggestions for exceptionally kind Christians; they are the very blueprint for life together in the body of Christ. The New Testament presents the church as a redeemed people who belong to one another through union with Christ. In a culture that often treats faith as private and individual, Scripture calls us into a shared life of worship, sacrifice, humility, and mutual care. This series will help us see that spiritual maturity is not merely measured by what we know about God, but by how the love of Christ is displayed in our relationships with one another.

Each week will invite us not only to hear God’s Word, but to practice it together as a church family. I encourage you to spend time each week in prayer and meditating on how in this next season God is calling you to live out this command in our community. Whether you are new to church life or have followed Christ for decades, this series will challenge, encourage, and deepen our understanding of what it truly means to be members of one body together in Christ.
